Birth, Death, Marriage, Civil Union & Divorce Certificates
The Town Clerk’s office issues State of New Hampshire vital records (birth, death, marriage, civil union, and divorce certificates) to qualified individuals and agencies that provide a ‘direct and tangible’ interest in the record. A $15 fee is charged for a record search, whether or not a certified copy can be processed. The fee for each additional copy of the same record is $10. The fees may be paid by cash, check, or credit card. If a credit card is tendered, 2.99% will be added to the cost ($1.50 minimum).
Persons requesting vital records in person must complete and sign a Vital Record Request Form and provide picture identification. Vital records requested in writing by mail must include payment; a self-addressed, stamped envelope; the application, and a copy of the requestor’s driver’s license. Send requests, including payment, to the Town of Londonderry, Town Clerk’s Office, 268B Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH 03053. In addition, vital records may be requested via the Town of Londonderry website. Please visit the website and follow the on-screen directions.
The Town Clerk’s office can access all Town of Londonderry vital records, as well as many records originating in other cities and towns in New Hampshire because of access to the State of New Hampshire database. However, many older records may not be in the State database, and applicants may be directed to the city or town where the record originated, or to the State of NH Division of Vital Records.
