To efficiently and effectively maintain the Town’s roadways and other infrastructure. To provide technical and engineering support. To build and maintain a public sewer infrastructure, manage the collection and disposal of solid waste, and implement and improve environmental managerial practices.
Major Services / Responsibilities
House the public works plans and records.
Issue / review permits for excavation and driveways.
Review projects for the Planning Board.
Inspect roadway projects, subdivisions, and site improvements for compliance with Town standards.
Continue use of the roadway Maintenance and Improvement Plan.
Assist in the design and preparation of cost estimates for Town projects.
