Municipal Records Committee

Overview

In accordance with RSA 33-A:3, the Municipal Records Committee in Londonderry is responsible for the proper management of public records. The committee develops and maintains records retention schedules, ensuring compliance with state laws and regulations. It provides advice on the preservation, storage, and lawful disposal of municipal records to help local governments operate transparently and efficiently. By overseeing records practices, the committee supports accountability and access to public information for residents and officials alike.
