The Leach Library is seeking the following part-time positions:
Leach Library Senior Library Assistant
STARTING SALARY: $22.14 per hour plus pro-rated paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick time).
WORK SCHEDULE: Assigned to a twenty-eight (28) hour workweek including some mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
JOB SUMMARY: Performs para-professional library duties. Work assignments will include service desk coverage with assistance in library programs. T
ACCOUNTABILITY: Works under the general direction of the Head of Circulation & Teen Services, Assistant Director, and Library Director.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma required; Associate degree and 1-3 years library experience preferred.

Leach Library Part-Time Children’s Librarian
STARTING SALARY: $26.89 per hour plus pro-rated paid time off (holidays, vacation, and sick time).
WORK SCHEDULE: Assigned to a twenty-two-point five (22.5) hour workweek including some mornings, evenings, and Saturdays.
JOB SUMMARY: Work assignments will include providing direct customer service at the children’s desk, help in planning, developing and implementing programming and assisting with collection development.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Works under the general direction of the Head of Children’s Services, Assistant Director, and Library Director.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: MLS (ALA accredited) and 1-3 years of public library experience working in children’s services preferred.
