RECREATION COMMISSION Openings: One (1) Three-Year Full Member Position (expires December 2028) One (1) Two-Year Full Member Position (expires December 2027) Meets: Second Monday of each month, 7:30 p.m. | Help shape the programs, events, and facilities that keep Londonderry active and connected. This is hands-on community building with visible results, and plenty of chances to work with staff and volunteers who get things done. |
HERITAGE / HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION Openings: One (1) Three-Year Alternate Position (expires December 2028) Meets: Every other month, fourth Thursday, 7:00 p.m. | Support the preservation of Londonderry’s historic and cultural resources and help keep local history understood, valued, and shared. It’s a chance to protect the Town’s story and make sure it remains part of community life for the next generation. |
BEAUTIFY LONDONDERRY Openings: One (1) Ad Hoc Full Member One (1) Ad Hoc Alternate Member Meets: Third Monday of each month, 6:00 p.m. | If you like practical, feel-good results, this committee delivers. Beautify organizes community cleanups and projects that make Town spaces more welcoming, more cared-for, and more enjoyable to use. |
PETTENGILL ROAD TIF ADVISORY BOARD Openings: One (1) Full Member Position Meets: As needed as determined by the board | Help guide the planning and operation of Londonderry’s Tax Increment Financing District, ensuring smart growth and economic development. Members review reports and recommend improvements that keep the district thriving and compliant with its development program. |

Old Home Day is one of Londonderry’s signature traditions and a true community-builder. Board members help guide planning, partnerships, and big-picture decisions that keep the event strong year after year.
General Volunteers Needed: Day-of support, set-up/breakdown, info/help table, parade and booth support, family activities, and more.
