2. The Town is currently seeking the next holder of the Boston Post Cane and welcomes nominations of Londonderry residents who meet the criteria:

   • Can provide proof of age via birth certificate, passport, or voter registration;
   • Is a U.S. citizen (born or naturalized);
   • Has lived in Londonderry at least 30 years and currently resides in Town; and
   • Has been a contributor to the Town or a neighboring community in some way or an active member of a local nonprofit organization.

   Candidates can nominate themselves or somebody else. Applications are due October 1, 2025.
