Mission

To efficiently and effectively maintain the Town’s roadways and other infrastructure. To provide technical and engineering support. To build and maintain a public sewer infrastructure, manage the collection and disposal of solid waste, and implement and improve environmental managerial practices            

Major Services/Responsibilities include:

• House the Public Works plans and records
• Issue/review permits for excavation and driveways
• Review projects for the Planning Board
• Inspect roadway projects, subdivision and site improvements for compliance with Town standards
• Continue use of the roadway Maintenance and Improvement Plan, and
• Assist in design and preparation of costs estimates for Town projects
