Sargent Road, behind Town Hall, Police Station and Library

Overview

Located near the Town Center, the Nelson Road Fields / Londonderry Athletic Field Association (LAFA) complex consists of approximately 57 acres of baseball/softball fields, tennis courts, a skate park, children's playground and woodlands. Sports fields are used extensively by baseball/softball leagues throughout the summer. A trail system weaves throughout the complex and connects to the nearby Kings neighborhood, the Town Offices and Library, and Pillsbury Road. Spur trails connect the park to the Moose Hill trail sytem. The trails are in good repair and easily traversed.

Ahtletic sports, hiking, jogging

Prohibited Uses

Motorized vehicles, dogs are not permitted on fields while children are present

Wayfinding

Fields are labeled with names.  No trail blazes are in place.  A trail to the Kings neighborhood is accessible behind the children's playground.  The trail is wide and easy to follow.

LAFAThe complex is largely maintained by the Londonderry Athletic Fields Association (LAFA), a community organization formed to provide organized baseball and softball opportunities for Londonderry residents.  The group serves over 600 players annually.  More detail here.
