Sealed Bids for the Grenier Field Road – Signal Improvement Project will be received at the Department of Finance, Town Hall, 268B Mammoth Road, Londonderry, New Hampshire no later than 2:00 pm on April 25, 2023, at which place, and time said Bids will be opened and read aloud in the Moose Hill Conference Room at 2:15 PM. All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes addressed to the Finance Department Purchasing Agent, contain the bidders name and address, and with the label “Grenier Field Road – Signal Improvement Project”. If forwarded by mail, the sealed envelope containing the bid and marked as directed above, must be enclosed within another    envelope addressed to the Town of Londonderry, Attn: Finance Department Purchasing Agent, 268B Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH 03053, preferably by registered mail.

The work includes improvements to the existing traffic signal at the intersection of Grenier Field Road and Webster Road in the Town of Londonderry, New Hampshire. 

Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the form of a certified treasurer's or cashier's check or bid bond in the sum of five (5) percent of the Bid Price.

Contract Documents will be sent to Contractor’s, in electronic format via e-mail, on or after March 30, 2023, from the office of Stantec Consulting Services Inc. 5 Dartmouth Drive, Suite 200, Auburn, New Hampshire 03032. Successful bidder must furnish 100 percent Construction Performance Bond, 100 percent Construction Payment Bond.

Substantial contract completion time shall be October 31, 2023.

Contract Final Completion time shall be November 15, 2023.

No bidder may withdraw his/her Bid for a period of 90 calendar days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids.

An optional pre-bid conference will be held on site at the intersection of Grenier Field Road and Webster Road in Londonderry, New Hampshire, at 2:00 pm on April 11, 2023.  Representatives of the Owner will be present to discuss the Project.  Owner will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda, as Owner considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference.  Oral statements made at the pre-bid conference may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, should the Owner deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
