Friends of the Londonderry Leach Library

Mission Statement

To build a partnership between the Leach Library and the Londonderry community by facilitating activities that will enhance the library's role as a creative center of community life.

Purpose

To raise awareness in the community about library services and needs, promote public knowledge of library resources, services and programs, and raise much-needed funds through events to supplement library services and collections. In past years, the Friends provided funds to help sponsor multiple children's and adult programs.

Meetings

Friends Meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. on the second Monday of the month except July, August and December in the library's meeting room.

Join the Friends

Membership is open to everyone in the community. To support our work, we ask for an annual membership fee of $10.00, which is tax-deductible and structured like a donation. You can support the Friends with your financial contribution and/or as an active volunteer. Click here for the application to join the Friends!

Helping Hands Group

If you cannot commit to attending our monthly meetings and would still like to help, become a Helping Hands member.  Helping Hands Group members volunteer their time and energy by assisting at book sales, setting up tables, etc.  You can give as little or as much time as you want.
