Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County

For the past four years, Family Promise of Greater Rockingham County has helped homeless families with children find stability and a more secure living environment. With the help of seventeen ecumenical, hosting congregations, over 500 dedicated volunteers, and financial contributions from individuals, local government grants, private organizations, area congregations, and businesses, Family Promise guided dozens of families as they moved from homelessness toward independence.

Families In Transition

Families In Transition offers multiple 24/7 emergency shelter programs for adults and families in New Hampshire. Our goal is to help meet the most basic needs and engage with emergency shelter participants through intensive case management to guide them in overcoming barriers they face in finding and retaining housing.

New Horizons for NH

Available to homeless individuals 18-years-old and older. Shelter participant bed check in is from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00pm. The shelter can accommodate 108 participants in dormitory-style sleeping areas. Through the winter 2019/20 we’ll have an additional 30 mattresses on the dining room floor to accommodate overflow.
